WHAT: Party 25 is not a conventional political party. Nor is it a protest group or advocacy organisation. Rather, it is a new form of political association that is striving to go beyond the debilitating limits of parliamentary democracy. Party 25 is based on responding to one fundamental question which all of its policies serve. That question is — “how does humanity get to the 25th century?” Party 25 is based on the proposition that humanity does not have an assured future — that its future is in its own hands. How humanity treats the ecologies on which it depends absolutely determines the inseparable relation between its being and the being of the biophysical world.
